Back Tridents to win1.72Barbados Tridents are two-time CPL champions and have got themselves a good squad heading into this tournament. They will be eager to get the ball rolling with a win here and by all means, it seems doable. They have a fairly talented line-up, at least on paper. With that regard, the smart money would be to back the Barbados Tridents.Betway
Back St. Kitts and Nevis to be the team with the top bowler in the match2.10St. Kitts and Nevis have got themselves a star-studded bowling attack with the likes of Sohail Tanvir, Ish Sodhi, and Sheldon Cottrell leading the charge. Even though they may be lacking the depth in batting, they can make up for it with their bowling which, comparatively, looks better than that of Barbados Tridents’.10CRIC

Barbados Tridents

Even though Barbados Tridents don’t make the cut as one of our two selections to go all the way this year, they are still worth keeping an eye out for.

Right off the bat, they have Jason Holder leading the charge, who recently had a fairly decent campaign in the West Indies Tour of England Test Series. With a decent batting and bowling performance, he has set the precedent for other teammates to follow.

With him, there is the New Zealand bowler Mitchell Santer, and Raymond Reifer – the local talent – both of whom have been in a fairly decent form, whenever they got a chance to play. Lastly, we also have Jonathan Carter – the Man of the Match from last year’s final win. He also played an instrumental role in taking the team through the qualifiers.

St. Kitts and Nevis Patriots

St. Kitts and Nevis finished the last season at the 4th place in what can only be described as a mediocre run. To make amends for that, the team management has brought in some fresh blood.

Among the most notable names is that of Chris Lynn – the Australian batsman who had a rather decent stint in the Pakistan Super League. The addition of Sohail Tanvir should also add some gravity and variation to the team’s bowling line-up – after all, he remains to be one of the many prolific bowlers in his country.

Lastly, we have the New Zealander Ish Sodhi, who joins Ben Dunk to wrap up the talent field from the lands down under. This influx of talent certainly puts them in a more competitive space than last season.

Where to bet on Barbados Tridents vs St. Kitts and Nevis

This being just the 2nd game of the season is bound to be thrilling. The tridents look prime to win by St. Kitts and Nevis will fancy their chances here.
