The second of my Superchargers vs Originals predictions is for Northern Superchargers to be the match-winner. This is one of my Superchargers vs Originals betting tips because I was unimpressed by the Originals in their last match.

On Tuesday the Originals were in a good position but eventually lost at home to an experimental London Spirit team that was full of youngsters and had nothing to play for.

That bad result means this game is even more of a must-win for the Originals and I am not sure how they will handle the pressure. They also still don’t seem to know their best team – they could end up either short of batsmen or not picking useful leg spinner Matt Parkinson.

This is an absolute must-win for the Superchargers too. Their opening batsmen have not been performing, but in Harry Brook and David Willey they have a middle order to make up for that. I also like the Superchargers as a bowling unit, especially the spinners Mujeeb Ur Rahman and Adil Rashid.

I think the Superchargers have at least as strong a win probability as the Originals, so at these prices I am backing the hosts to get the result they need.
