England vs Pakistan Winner Prediction
Recommended Bet: Back England to win @ 2.4 with Betway in live betting
The England v Pakistan win probability says Pakistan have a 48.8% chance of winning based on real odds of 2.05.
Time for our betting prediction on the match winner market. And it’s time to switch sides.
That’s because Pakistan simply can’t be trusted. Their bowling will always give them a chance but you won’t win many games when your batting collapses time after time.
If we could identify one or two batsmen who might get to 50 we could hope the Pakistan bowlers could do the rest. But who’s even going to get to 50?
Their best hope might be to bowl first in tough batting conditions and hope that England make a few changes. But even then, that might not be enough.
This side of Stokes’ is stronger than it looks so we’ll revert to a strategy of trying to back England in live betting at 2.3 rather than the current 1.73 and hope they get off to a slow start.
They should win anyway.
By the way, here’s a good Betway review for you to read as a reminder of why they’re a top-class betting site.
England vs Pakistan Top Batsman Bet
Recommended Bet: Back Shadab Khan to be Pakistan top batsman @ 24.0 with 10CRIC
What do you do when Pakistan’s big name batsmen are all out of form?
You look for options elsewhere. The good thing about this betting market is that it opens the door to other capable players at far bigger odds who will have every chance if there’s another batting collapse.
Three men coming under that category are Safraz Ahmed, Shadab Khan and Hasan Ali.
Ahmed may not play and though Ali is an incredibly tempting price at 42.0. One of these days he may well top score at those odds from number nine but it’s a big ask. So Khan is our man at very decent odds of 24.0.
He’s done ok so far with scores of 30 and 21. 50 could well be enough to win it and he should bat at five or six.
Today’s England vs Pakistan Hot Bet
Recommended Bet: Back Ben Stokes to be England Top batsman @ 4.7 with 10 CRIC
Stokes had every chance to top score last time after we backed him. He had 60 to beat and made a good start before falling for 22, clean bowled by Ali.
He’s the best batsmen in the team by some distance and this could be the game he shows that. You don’t keep a man like Stokes quiet for too long.
