The second of my Originals vs Spirit predictions is for Manchester Originals to be the match-winner. This is one of my Originals vs Spirit betting tips because London Spirit have not won a single game in The Hundred so far.

Jos Buttler might be away playing for England against India, but the Originals have not missed him yet. Colin Munro has found his form at the top of the order and Phil Salt also looks dangerous.

Manchester Originals also have one of The Hundred’s strongest bowling units. They understand the importance of spin and have a variety of useful slow bowlers such as Colin Ackermann, Tom Hartley, Calvin Harrison and Matt Parkinson.

London Spirit have struggled to work out their best team and best approach to The Hundred. Coach Shane Warne has been absent because of Covid while captain Eoin Morgan has not got to grips with the new format.

The Spirit are also not going to qualify for the final stages of the tournament so I have to wonder about their motivation now. All of these issues reduce their win probability so I am backing Manchester Originals to win this game and move into the all-important top three of The Hundred table.
