India vs England 4th Test, Day 2 ended with the hosts at 294/7 at stumps.

Sharma, Pant, Sundar take India ahead
After losing a wicket in the first over of the first innings, India seemed to be off to a shaky start.
However, Rohit Sharma put in a well-respected performance with a 144-ball 49 opener shortly after.
Wicket-keeper batsman Rishabh Pant performed extremely well for India, hitting 13 fours and 2 sixes in his 118-ball 101.
His efforts scoring a well-compiled century helped put India well ahead of the English opponents before falling to James Anderson.
After a short 32-ball 13 from Ashwin, Batsman Washington Sundar finished the day with an exceptional 117-ball 60.
He was at the crease alongside Axar Patel (11) at the draw of stumps.
For England, James Anderson (3/40) was the best bowler – taking 3 wickets.
Ben Stokes (2/73) and Jack Leach (2/66) also accounted for two wickets each.
India on course for final Test victory
India now lead by 89 runs with three wickets in hand and are leading the series 2-1.
They only need a draw to qualify for the World Test Championship final against New Zealand in June 2021.
