The Rajasthan Royals take on the Gujarat Titans – both teams have enviable records going into this clash, with each franchise winning three of their opening four games. I have been combing through the live cricket satta rates to come up with the best RR vs GT betting tips.
Of the two newcomers, I felt the Lucknow Super Giants would be the stronger outfit, but the Titans are proving me wrong. Their never say die attitude in games – see their victory over the Punjab Kings – means they are always a good side to back in-play, particularly when they are up against it.

According to the RR vs GT betting odds, the Royals are marginal favourites to come out on top against the Titans, and I agree with today’s IPL betting odds on offer! The Royals have been slightly more impressive in their performances.
It hasn’t been an easy call to make, but my RR vs GT betting prediction for this clash is for the Rajasthan Royals to get the job done.
They have been one of the surprise packages this season, with the form of their upper order being a particular highlight. We’re yet to see how they fare when chasing a target – remarkably they have batted first in each of their first four games – but I think they have too much strength in the run-scoring department for the Titans and they are my match winner.
The Titans can thank their wonder striker Rahul Tewatia for beating the Punjab Kings last week – but more on him and an IPL classic moment later!
I will be backing the Royals with Pure Win – they are my favourite destination for pre-match bets. They offer the best value among its competitors – but you can find out more by reading our full Pure Win review.
The victory over the Lucknow Super Giants was the first failure of what has been an exhilarating campaign so far by Jos Buttler. The Englishman registered just 13 runs from 11 balls – but it was enough to keep on top of the batting rankings for runs scored in this season’s IPL.
I like to strike while the iron is hot, and Butler is in scintillating form at the moment – that’s why I will back him to score a half-century as part of my RR vs GT betting tips.
I will be placing my bet with Betway – a leader in the IPL betting market for pre-match specials, Betway is an innovative, exciting, and trustworthy sports betting site. Find out more and read our Betway review.
The Rajasthan Royals got back to winning ways last time out with a thrilling 3-run victory over the Super Giants, bouncing back from a disappointing defeat to the Royal Challengers Bangalore.
On a pitch that offered a bit to both the batting and bowling units, Shimron Hetmyer hit a thrilling 59 runs from 36 balls to help the Royals post 165/8. The victory was a much closer-run thing than it should have been – the Super Giants were 126/8 at one point, but Marcus Stoinis (38 runs from 17 balls) was proving a thorn in their side.
The LSG needed 15 runs from the final over, but debutant Kuldeep Sen held his nerve to seal victory for his side – conceding just 12 from it.
The Royals are yet to announce a replacement for Nathan Coulter-Nile, who flew back to Australia last week for treatment on a side strain.
Kuldeep Sen impressed on his debut with figures of 1/35 from four overs, including the match-winning death over. He is likely to keep his place.
Player to Watch: Yuzvendra Chahal
The Indian spin-wizard was in inspiring form against the Super Giants – finishing with figures of 4/41 from his four overs.
His haul propelled him to the top of the IPL 22 wicket-taking rankings, and at the time of writing, he boasts the best strike rate of players who have bowled more than two overs.
The Gujarat Titans lost their undefeated record with a disappointing defeat to the Sunrisers Hyderabad – losing by eight wickets with five balls to spare.
In truth, the Titans were always behind the eight ball against the Sunrisers – labouring to 162 on a good batting track, before failing to make any meaningful in-roads or apply any real pressure in the field.
I should be typing about their second consecutive defeat, but the magic of Tewatia means I’m not. I am still processing their incredible run chase against the Punjab Kings last week, which saw Tewatia hit two sixes off the final two balls to seal victory.
Whatever the outcome of this result or even their IPL campaign, the Titans are proving exciting recruits to the competition.
West Indies recruits Dominic Drakes and Alzarri Joseph have completed their mandatory quarantine period and will be available for selection – though it remains to be seen whether they can displace rising stars Sai Sudharsan and Darshan Nalkande.
There were no fresh injury concerns following the game against the Sunrisers on Monday.
Player to Watch: Sai Sudharsan
Followers of the Tamil Nadu Premier League will not be surprised to see Sudharsan making a name for himself with the Titans. In 2021, he was the tournament’s second-highest run-scorer – averaging a whopping 71.60!
He is taking to the IPL like a duck to water – smashing 35 on debut against the PBKS, though he only managed 11 against the Sunrisers.
